XP and ME dual boot set-up ???s
How do I get W2k to display the menu of O/S's so that I can select the O/S startup on my dual boot system? I have two W2k O/S's installed on different partitions - but when I startup, the "selection menu" does not come on (I don't get any 'choice') and it boots directly to the default active partition.

Jack A. Zucker j...@gwis.com microsoft public windowsnt setup Your screwed. Sorry. You either have to install Win95 (fat16) on disk 1, partition 1 first, or you will be dual booting by changing your BIOS as to what drive to startup. Not true. New Problem - printer(s)
Some people would solve the problem with a dual-boot setup and run the old programs under Windows 3.1. My solution is probably just as complex to set up, but it takes advantage of Windows 95’s strengths. The first step is to shut down and restart the system in MS-DOS mode and use the Windows 3.1 SETUP program to

My Pioneer DVR-A05 gets 6MB/s with an audio CD but it's in an external USB enclosure and uses USB 1.1 so that speed is acceptable. USB 1.1 is limited to less than 1 MB/s, smartass. My Lite-On 48125W CD-RW is on IDE 1 as Master with a HDD as slave. With the same audio CD, it gets 18MB/s.

I’m going to install it on my parent’s computer (P2 @ 400 MHz, 128 MB RAM). As they use it for internet browsing, Fluxbuntu seems almost the perfect choice. [PATCH/review] Blackfin: unify cpu and boot modes
Both computers are dual booted one with 2000 and 98SE and the other 2000 and 95. When I was using the modem I could access the internet from either boot but now I can only access from 2000 on either machine. The machines are both connected to a Linksys router and they were setup before as a network.
